The Community Campus at our Bagdad, Arizona, operations is the direct result of engagement through the site’s Community Partnership Panel. The campus has had a significant impact on the community. It provides space for a day care center, a meeting location for all clubs and organizations and a safe place for all ages to enjoy. On a daily basis, children can be seen at the skate park and the playground area. In the summers, the pool is used by families and the youth center is popular with middle—school—age children. Many of the community’s activities revolve around use of the Campus, including the Halloween Carnival, Fourth of July Celebration and political elections.

There are also various additional projects, such as a 24—acre solar installation. These solar panels produce five percent of our operation’s energy needs.
